An Oldham man has been jailed for 12 months after leading police on a chase through North Wales while drink driving.
The 31-year-old failed to stop when police flagged him down on August 8.
Officers said his VW Gold was “all over the place” when they saw him between Rhuallt and Holywell.
PC Martin Done of North Wales Police’s roads unit said: “[His] driving was reckless and completely irresponsible that morning and it was only by good fortune that no one was seriously injured or killed.
“Hopefully the sentence given to [him] will act as a warning to others that these actions are dangerous and have serious consequences.”
After pleading guilty to drink driving and driving without insurance, Caernarfon Crown Court banned him from driving for 42 months in addition to the 12-month jail term.
