Learner Rage As Driving Examiner And Instructor Abused And Chased

News from Accrington has reported that a learner driver was so enraged that he abused both his driving examiner and instructor following which he chased them down the road.

The 25 year old learner, Antony Alltree of Accrington lost his head when his instructor slammed on the dual controls at a roundabout when the learner was at the wheel.

He then became “abusive” to both his examiner and instructor before getting out of the car and starting to threaten them.

As the instructor and examiner drove the car back to the driving school, Alltree chased them on foot.

When he finally arrived that the DVSA centre Alltree began banging on doors and windows.

The police were called and the learner driver was arrested.

Alltree has now appeared at Burnley Magistrates Court where he pleaded guilty to a public order offence.

He was sentenced to a 2 year community order with a 35 day programme requirement and a 20 day rehabilitation activity requirement. He was also ordered to pay £50 compensation and £85 costs.
