Mr C had been caught driving following an earlier case where he was disqualified. This was also his second offence of driving whilst disqualified during the currency of this ban. Mr C was understandably concerned about receiving a custodial sentence for this new offence. The court accepted the factors put forward and decided to give Mr C one last chance, leaving him firmly in the knowledge of what would happen were he to offend in the same way again.
